This place is usually busy, it has a waited section and a self order section. I came here last week and ordered a laffa with chicken. I was only able to eat half of it it made me full really quick. However the laffa bread was a little rubbery this time and was a little tough to chew. But other than that a great place to dine.

Good schwarma. Crispier. Pricey for a plate although the portion is huge. The pita definitely looks better as the sides for my plates didn't taste too great.

Good food. As a Taiwanese, I was really worried before I Walk into the store but end up the food was amazing. We ordered the mixed and mushroom and eggplant as sides. Said bar was good too. Meats especially chicken was very juicy. Good service too.

When an Israeli tells you to ready your belly for the best shawarma outside of Israel, you listen and arrive hungry. Grill Point is in a neighborhood amongst many a Kosher market and eatery, but it has something a little special. Call it a "tribal" experience in Hebrew cuisine since all corners of the Middle East to Eastern Europe are represented. We ordered the lamb (obviously!) and were presented with little plates for the salad items up front that customers self serve. Sour pickles, spiced brined veggies, red and white cabbage slaw and beets were some of the options. They acted almost like a palate cleanser for all that drippy, fatty lamb we shoved into our mouths. It's impossible to be lady like with this food, although I tried and gave up. Know that there will be hummus and oil smeared all over your lips dripping down into your cleavage, pants leg or table top depending on how you decide to sit with this thing and your gender. My companion did a little shimmy dance between drizzles of tahini. It was hard to peel yourself off the seat afterward. The grapefruit flavored soft drink he recommended was a pleasant surprise because it was more like a nectar and hardly carbonated. I drank one. I could have drank at least 2 or 3. If there was Vodka or Arak involved, I would have had a brilliant cocktail. The only thing that put me off initially was the bits of meat, bread and salad items under the table and on the seat next to me from previous patrons. A little sweep and wipe down wouldn't have been a bad idea, but then again, with shawarma like that, leaving a mess must be the highest compliment. Lamb and L'chaim…so good.

The shwarma here melts in your mouth . The best in town . The lafa bread is yumm And quite filling . They have a nice self service salad bar that comes with your sandwich . I rather take out than sit in . I find the servers here are way slow . Also try the kuba it's a really good appetizer .

Excellent restaurant good food great pricing for kosher food, really get your money's worth. Service is 5 star meat is top grade and you always get that Israeli feel when you go sit in the restaurant. Salads taste home made, and there is food for everyone kids, and adults.

Coming from a person that grew up with Shwarma, tdoesn't compare to what you will get over seas. However, it is pretty good. The laffa can be very filling and the portions are generous. Great for when you get the craving and aren't able to fly over night across the world for a shwarma.

Came back to Grill Point after a year with an unstoppable craving for shawarma. I forgot what was better by this point, the baby chicken or lamb. Lamb. I copped out on a chicken shawarmizzle and my girlfriend got a lamb. After chowing down our food and trying each others, I came to the conclusion that the lamb is the way to go. The fries and salad on the side are great add ons, although I didn't have room to finish everything. The portions are just right, although, I wish I could just by a shawarma minus the fries :/ Anywho, I'll deff be back. This is my go-to shawarma spot for life!

Very delicious food. Courteous waitresses and given liberal amounts of pita for wait.
Jason R. 6/14/2017
Love their shwarma but it's so pricey! It's over $12 to get a shwarma. But I justify it by the fact that it's kosher and yummy!

Food was very good. A little pricey. Service was terrible . People were not friendly. Had to ask for everything.

I like this place. Good food. Nice staff. A bit expensive for what it is but the quality is good so you really can't complain. It's definitely worth a try if you like middle eastern cuisine.

Stay away from this place!!! The food is alright but the waiters are rude and obnoxious. They would not seat us at an open table and then refused to let us order from the cashier. Instead they tries making us stand by the register for 15 minutes until a table was open and tried forcing ua to order througn a waitress so that she wouldnt lose her tips. Will not be hoing back here any time soon.

Had falafel platter a bit pricy for falafel which was good . Tried to substitute 2 sides for the better salads (eggplant etc..) they said no do for 14dollars no hummus or even a little sampler of hummus baba eggplant
I got decent Israeli salad and a selection of dead salads from pickle section.
Tehina very watered down
Shawarma looks excellent will be going back.
Don't be so cheap with your salads not everyone eats potatoes

Anyone who goes to Queens College knows damn well about the miserable state of food on or near campus. I've been here a handful of times, the meat is very expensive. When I came here initially I paid like $24 for the baby chicken shawarma. Now I just get the falafel, which comes with a lot of food, fries, and salad for about $7. I think its pretty tasty.

A friend of mine and his father brought me here to try kosher Israeli food for the first time in my life. To be honest, I had no idea what to expect or what to order. They recommended that I try the baby chicken shawarma. No you are not served a baby chicken.. atleast I hope not :).
I ordered the baby chicken shawarma wrap. The meal comes with free access to the salad bar – definitely take advantage! It's not your typical salad bar. You get all sorts of different salads (red cabbage, israeli salad, etc). Great option to get some fiber in your meal. Anyways the wrap arrived – it's a delicious pita bread wrap filled with chicken, fries, cucumbers, hummus, etc. I loved it. The pita bread was phenomenal and the flavors went together extremely well.
Unfortunately the prices are sky high. If you eat kosher, I'm sure you know that is expected of any kosher restaurant. If you're a newbie, just keep that in mind. Prices aside, the quality of food is fantastic. I would definitely return.

This is a good place on main st. While they are a bit pricey for what they give you they really a good place to have lunch or dinner. They have a variety of Mediterranean food, as well as a nice salad bar
Albert B. 11/03/2017
A hidden gem in my area , Baby Chicken Pita loaded , salad hummus & skhug tahini sauce both add so much flavor and their fries are prefect thick cut
Victoria T. 12/19/2015
This is flat out AMAZING. I've never had a bad experience and I've been coming here often. I've ordered about 5 kinds of eggplant dishes, 5 different salads, hummus 3 ways, lamb done two ways, chicken done three different ways, morroccan cigars, slaws and vegetable dishes. Every single thing was absolutely delicious and portions huge. I would drive from anywhere anytime to eat here. It's Kosher so they have burgers but you won't get cheese. The French fries are awesome too. I love that it's so healthy and so tasty you'd never think you're eating straight up good-for-you food. Please go here. Please. You're missing out if you haven't.

Great place to grab a bite! Amazing shawarma! Been going here for a little while now and they haven't disappointed me once yet so far! See you soon
Avi A. 4/15/2018
Best and most authentic Israeli shawarma in town!! Quick service too. What I disliked was the fact that it's always packed and not enough seating. I definitely will be coming back for more 🙂
David Y. 12/10/2015

This is the best place for falafel and middle eastern food in Flushing and forest hills area. A must try if you are in queens
CJ V. 11/15/2015
Great place for any kind of middle eastern food !!
Shawarma is amazing , salads and falafel is nothing but perfect .
adam v. 3/23/2016
Great shawarma. Love it. The portions are fairly large. The one thing I don't get is- if you are dining in, the price is higher and that doesn't include tips. However, the food is great. We get it there every time we want a shawarma. Definitely make it there and try their shawarma.

Like many, I rely on Yelp reviews to eat at some new places. Yelp.. You failed me this time.. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but this was just disappointing and just think you should all be informed. Maybe I just had a bad experience; but I'll try to be as honest as possible. To begin, the food was very expensive, the chicken shawarma was a little over $11. But the place was pretty crowded, and hey; the reviews were great; so the food must be worth it right ?
WRONG. The chicken was not cooked enough, my friend couldn't eat his because he thought it was raw. The hummus was not bad actually. But again; that chicken.. It's sad that they put a lot, and usually that's a good thing, but in this case I had to eat a lot of something I didn't like. The fries that come with it caught my eyes, they looked good but the looks deceived me. They were soggy, not cooked enough, and just hard to enjoy.
If you're rich, and don't care much for quality taste, then enjoy. But if you're only willing to spend good money for good food, I highly suggest you avoid this place.

This place is one of my favorites… my buddies and I have been going here together for almost 10 years. I always get the kofta kebab on laffa with hummus and some spicy sauce. It never disappoints – I am drooling as I am typing this, days later…
The shawarma is extremely popular here. Consider going early because availability varies as you get closer to closing.
