Grill Point NY is an israeli/middle-eastern restaurant established in 2003. We are well known for our one of a kind taste of lamb, chicken & turkey shuwarma, shish kebobs, kofta kebobs and so much more! All of our products are made from the best quality ingredients, and 100% certified by Vadd Harabamim of Queens.
Don’t take our word for it, see what our well fed customers are saying!
Came back to Grill Point after a year with an unstoppable craving for shawarma. I forgot what was better by this point, the baby chicken or lamb. Lamb. I copped out on a chicken shawarmizzle and my girlfriend got a lamb. After chowing down our food and trying each others, I came to the conclusion that the lamb is the way to go. The fries and salad on the side are great add ons, although I didn't have room to finish everything. The portions are just right, although, I wish I could just by a shawarma minus the fries :/ Anywho, I'll deff be back. This is my go-to shawarma spot for life!

This place is fabulous- amazing israeli and middle eastern food – and the ambiance is fun and reflective of the surrounding Jewish neighborhood. The platters seem too pricey (mid twenty dollar range- seriously, what extras would you want that isn't included in the serve yourself salad bar, delicious homemade fries, homemade bread and hummus that come with a sandwich). I had the shish kebab sandwich and every element of the meal was insanely good. Love it.

One of the best chicken shawarma around!!!! Delicious fresh lafa and pita, awesome salad bar, excellent fresh tasting hummus, great staff who is both attentive and courteous. Overall a great place to eat especially when hungry. If you can't make the trip to Israel then this is second best! I am never disappointed here and its worth my 40 min trip every single time. You won't be disappointed!

This place is usually busy, it has a waited section and a self order section. I came here last week and ordered a laffa with chicken. I was only able to eat half of it it made me full really quick. However the laffa bread was a little rubbery this time and was a little tough to chew. But other than that a great place to dine.

Coming from a person that grew up with Shwarma, tdoesn't compare to what you will get over seas. However, it is pretty good. The laffa can be very filling and the portions are generous. Great for when you get the craving and aren't able to fly over night across the world for a shwarma.

Had falafel platter a bit pricy for falafel which was good . Tried to substitute 2 sides for the better salads (eggplant etc..) they said no do for 14dollars no hummus or even a little sampler of hummus baba eggplant
I got decent Israeli salad and a selection of dead salads from pickle section.
Tehina very watered down
Shawarma looks excellent will be going back.
Don't be so cheap with your salads not everyone eats potatoes

Very delicious food. Courteous waitresses and given liberal amounts of pita for wait.

Had brunch today at this Glatt Kosher spot. The food looked great from outside and the place was situated exactly where we had parked after a morning of shopping.
We ordered two turkey & lamb shawarmas and the falafel
The service was very slow The food though Fresh was tasteless. I had to keep adding condiments which I hate to do. My pita was cold but I did not complain. My brothers flatbread was freshly baked and still warm but again flat in taste too. I did not even bother to taste the falafel. They one good thing was the Cole slaw. It was delectable. The pickles were good too. My brother and Sisterinlaw seemed to enjoy their shawarmas.
Needless to say I will not return.

Greeting- at counter
Service- fast at counter
Shwarma heaven- $15 for a big shwarma on homemade lavash bread. Can be enough for two. Choose baby chicken, lamb or turkey, chopped salad, hummus, tahini and french fries all wrapped up in bread. Free side salad choices from salad bar.

Grill Point is pricey but the portions are huge and it really tastes amazing. Because of the prices, I stick to the pita sandwiches which come with French fries and a do-it yourself salad from their salad bar for $13. When I get this for lunch, I don't have to eat dinner or I have to save half for dinner because it's so filling. My favorite thing to get is the ADANA KEBAB. It's a ground lamb sausage that's grilled on a skewer. Add some hummus, tahini, parsley, and roasted eggplant for toppings and thank me later. It's really that delicious. Other great options are the baby chicken shwarma pita, lamb & turkey shwarma pita, and the lamb and beef kebabs in a pita. From the salad bar, I've only gotten the cucumber salad and the red cabbage slaw but everything looks very good. Their meat and potato soup is also very good. I also want to try their laffa, green pilaf, stuffed peppers, and couscous with chicken some day. Highly recommend Grill Point to everyone.

No one welcomed us to sit down waited on the line later found out it was to go line. Then waiter told us to just sit anywhere. Shawarma and the chocolate cake was good but service needs to improve it is very poor. Fafal and mash potatoes suck!!! If i go back I will only go back for shawarma.

I drive from sheepshead bay Brooklyn 30-40 mins to eat here. Best kosher meat place in NYC. Service is amazing. One of the cleanest restaurants I've been to. Try it and then Remember how I said
"best kosher meat"

This is the best place for falafel and middle eastern food in Flushing and forest hills area. A must try if you are in queens
CJ V. 11/15/2015
Excellent food ! Will always go when in the neighborhood ! If you are into middle eastern food don't hesitate ..
Elle S. 3/16/2016
This place is one of my favorites… my buddies and I have been going here together for almost 10 years. I always get the kofta kebab on laffa with hummus and some spicy sauce. It never disappoints – I am drooling as I am typing this, days later…
The shawarma is extremely popular here. Consider going early because availability varies as you get closer to closing.
Daniel S. 2/26/2017
Not the best atmosphere but very good food. I loved the hummus and chicken Shwarma. Our waitress was extremely helpful and guided us on what to order. If you like middle eastern food I would recommend this place.
Lori S. 9/04/2016
Delicious! The chicken shawarma here is sooo good! The best I have had in the neighborhood. They have a great salad bar to choose from, and its always fresh. My husband, and I always have chicken shawarma with laffa& hummus. It is pricey here, and dont like the fact that their seating area isnt so good. Its more costly to have the dine in service. Still we always manage to find a seat and enjoy! Their service is good. Truthfully most kosher places are pricey, still I believe its worth it here. Very delicious, and always hits the spot.
Sofya M. 3/25/2015
Stay away from this place!!! The food is alright but the waiters are rude and obnoxious. They would not seat us at an open table and then refused to let us order from the cashier. Instead they tries making us stand by the register for 15 minutes until a table was open and tried forcing ua to order througn a waitress so that she wouldnt lose her tips. Will not be hoing back here any time soon.
Moshe B. 6/07/2015
Simple and quick place for some take out hummus and falafels. Meats were cooked well and veggies were fresh.
Andy R. 12/05/2017
Great shawarma. Love it. The portions are fairly large. The one thing I don't get is- if you are dining in, the price is higher and that doesn't include tips. However, the food is great. We get it there every time we want a shawarma. Definitely make it there and try their shawarma.

When an Israeli tells you to ready your belly for the best shawarma outside of Israel, you listen and arrive hungry. Grill Point is in a neighborhood amongst many a Kosher market and eatery, but it has something a little special. Call it a "tribal" experience in Hebrew cuisine since all corners of the Middle East to Eastern Europe are represented. We ordered the lamb (obviously!) and were presented with little plates for the salad items up front that customers self serve. Sour pickles, spiced brined veggies, red and white cabbage slaw and beets were some of the options. They acted almost like a palate cleanser for all that drippy, fatty lamb we shoved into our mouths. It's impossible to be lady like with this food, although I tried and gave up. Know that there will be hummus and oil smeared all over your lips dripping down into your cleavage, pants leg or table top depending on how you decide to sit with this thing and your gender. My companion did a little shimmy dance between drizzles of tahini. It was hard to peel yourself off the seat afterward. The grapefruit flavored soft drink he recommended was a pleasant surprise because it was more like a nectar and hardly carbonated. I drank one. I could have drank at least 2 or 3. If there was Vodka or Arak involved, I would have had a brilliant cocktail. The only thing that put me off initially was the bits of meat, bread and salad items under the table and on the seat next to me from previous patrons. A little sweep and wipe down wouldn't have been a bad idea, but then again, with shawarma like that, leaving a mess must be the highest compliment. Lamb and L'chaim…so good.

My last experience at grill point was horrible
I had a pita shawarma that was without taste.
I've been there many times, and was never disappointed, maybe the owners was changed, but they need to step up to the
taste they had before.

I haven't been here for a while but let me tell you the food here is so good I came all the way from the other side of queens. Their Sharna's are delicious. With your sandwich you get all the condiments.
R. K. 4/07/2016
The best place
discovered it by accident
every time im in JFK i go by there to get shawarma
amazing very recommended
Roni A. 7/12/2015
The worst restaurant I have ever been to. First of all the prices are extremely expensive. The customer service sucks. Me and my friend went their and ordered two chicken shawarma. We were sitting at our seat when the waitress came over and told us to get up and move. She told us that this seat is for customers who pay more money. How rude!! At least if you can't treat your customers like customers. Then treat them as human beings.

OMG – the hustle, the bustle, the noise, the chaos, the ethnicity – the FOOD! Fabulousness. Have to make it just 4 stars bc it is just nowhere near a 5-star restaurant – no ambience, probably not the most sanitary, but who cares, the schwarma was TO DIE FOR. Yum. The side salads fantastic too. We all had the baby chicken (why is this a "baby?") schwarma. The fries were soggy and really, the dish would be fine frie-less. The beet salad was fantastic. Give me spicy sauces and make me swoon. We live where things are calm and homogeneous, and miss a mish mosh or ethnic cuisines and people. We would be regulars if we lived closer for sure!
