  •   The shwarma here melts in your mouth .  The best in town . The lafa bread is yumm And quite filling . They have a nice self service salad bar that comes with your sandwich . I  rather take out than sit in . I find the servers  here are way slow . Also  try the kuba it's a  really good appetizer .

If you're someone that likes diet, watered down alcohol and also believe in chauvinistic, sexist terminology, then go to the pub and ask for a "Girl Pint."

If you ate 3 bowls of old English Porridge and go running, you will be out of breath. I call it a "Gruel Pant."

And, if you're someone that points at girls, then go to Girl Point. And by the way you're a creep.

But if you like Falafel. Go to Grill f***ing Point.

    What to get: Falafel
    What else: Shawarma
What's the point in telling me what to order: Um… I thought…
I'm just kidding. Get it? Point? Grill Point?: Oh. I get it. Hmm.
Hmm what? You don't get it. Do you: No, I totally get it dude. I just…
What then?: Maybe leave the jokes to me in future.
    …: …
    …: This is awkward.
    …: Um…
…: On with the review then. (shakes head)

If it was full of people hanging out and relaxing, it'd be Chill Point.

I've been to Grill Point three times now, and each time I am thoroughly impressed. It's a little on the pricy side, especially if you order the fancy stuff and veer away from the tried and tested Falafel. But if you stick to the basics, you'll be under $10 and having a wonderful meal.

If they made cereals, it'd be Mill Point.

I think Mamoun's has the best Shawarma in NYC (although the Hoboken location is better), and when they mix it with Falafel it is even better. But for pure Falafel, I choose Grill Point. It's a 5 star place. It's run by Israelis and a lot of the employees are Israeli too as far as I can tell. It's very authentic, to say the least.

If they were an awful sports team in France, it'd be Nil Points.

Basically you ask for a falafel, they give you a delicious fluffy fresh pita stuffed with hot lightly spiced amazing falafel balls, and then you go to the salad bar and fill your pita with every type of Israeli deliciousness you can find. You're also allowed to fill a container up with salad as well, up to a certain point. And the salads are off-the-charts good and very homestyle and authentic too.

If they were all murderers, and this restaurant was where they did all their evil deeds, it'd be Kill Point.

In other words this is an experience that you do not want to miss. The second best authentic Israeli food I've had, and while the service can be brusque and prickly, the food is not. It's amazing. Besides, there was one girl last time I was here who cut in front of the other bored servers to get to me and take care of me, so to speak. She was super, duper nice and very flirty and chatty. So I really appreciated that, because on the phone they're usually dour, and in person most of them are indifferent or a little hostile. I don't care though. I'm all about the food.

If they overcharge you, which might happen since they're kind of not great servers most of the time… then you'd have to argue over your Bill Points.

By the way, the best Falafel and Shawarma I've ever eaten is nearby. It's in Roslyn on Long Island, and it's called Hummus World. Their "Shawafel" is one of the 20 best things I have ever eaten, from anywhere, in any country, in my life. Unfortunately, I got the horrible news that they have closed down due to a rent dispute, as of about 3 months ago. I am waiting patiently for news of them reopening. It was a lovely tiny little place.

If Grill Point closed down too, it'd be renamed Still Point.

I'm happy that Grill Point and Mamoun's still exist, and hopefully always will. But Hummus World was my sun and moon and shining star when it came to Shawarma, Falafel and Israeli food. So I am really hoping they will be back soon. I have my fingers crossed, and my tummy is rumbling in anticipation. You must try it when it opens. You simply must. I would drive 8 hours to Long Island from Buffalo just for a Shawafel. Seriously. And I have done.

If they were also a gas station, it'd be Fill Point. Same thing if they provided studly gigolos too I suppose.

But in the meantime… Grill Point is very very good Israeli food, and if you like Falafel and you're anywhere near Queens… you have to try this one. It's that good.

And if they were on the side of a mountain, it'd be Hill Point.

If you could write your last testament here, then Will Point. Similarly if Grace walked out on her friend, and he came here to be depressed, it'd be Will Point.

If all the servers had acne, it'd be Clearasil Point.

If they had coughs, then maybe Benadryl Point.

And finally, if they were drug dealers, it would be Pill Point. Which would be a really catchy name, and I should patent that asap. I'm not saying they're not drug dealers by the way. I mean they may be. How would I know? If you wanna know, come in and ask them. Hey do you guys sell drugs. I'm sure they'll be cool about it. Or perhaps you can get carpets here. In which case they'd be Rug Dealers. You could come in and ask for carpets. Persian Rugs maybe. I mean, they're Israeli, so why not? The Israelis love the Persians right? BFFs? I think? No?

Stay away from this place!!! The food is alright but the waiters are rude and obnoxious. They would not seat us at an open table and then refused to let us order from the cashier. Instead they tries making us stand by the register for 15 minutes until a table was open and tried forcing ua to order througn a waitress so that she wouldnt  lose her tips. Will not be hoing back here any time soon.

  •   Good schwarma. Crispier. Pricey for a plate although the portion is huge. The pita definitely looks better as the sides for my plates didn't taste too great.

Great place to eat real Mediterranean quality clean and tasty food, I personally like the lamb shawarma but whatever you order will be cooked and serve to perfection, place is very clean and the staff are friendly, defenatly the best place for Mediterranean quality food in Queens NY

Great shawarma. Love it. The portions are fairly large. The one thing I don't get is- if you are dining in, the price is higher and that doesn't include tips. However, the food is great. We get it there every time we want a shawarma. Definitely make it there and try their shawarma.

  •   I genuinely love this place. My friend introduced me to this bc she can only eat at kosher food restaurants. I am up for anything and so glad I am! I ordered the baby chicken shwarma on a pita. It was amazing and it comes with side fries and unlimited amount of veggies! The french fries are thick cut and are crispy~ the shawrma is warm and they even ask you if you want hummus veggies and hot sauce. The veggie section are usually some hot pepper pickles, purple coleslaw (purple cabbage?), regular coleslaw and some more veggies. Lol, i'm not too familiar with their names, just trust me and try a bit of each!

The onlllllyyy bad thing about this is that, if you're not sitting in the formal dining area, the casual sitting place is very small. As in, the tables are kind of close together but if you want to sit, youll just have to politely ask the people near to give you more room.

I like this place, I always go back with my friend! Planning to bring my bf here.

I only tried the Shawana on pita which comes with a salad you build yourself and fries, it was really good and extremely filling. I can't wait to try their hummus.

Anyone who goes to Queens College knows damn well about the miserable state of food on or near campus. I've been here a handful of times, the meat is very expensive. When I came here initially I paid like $24 for the baby chicken shawarma. Now I just get the falafel, which comes with a lot of food, fries, and salad for about $7. I think its pretty tasty.

  •   Good spot, I really like the food and always get it to go. The ones that do work here it is funny try and give an attitude or whatever but it doesn't really work because I don't give them the chance. Basic let me get a shawarma on Lafay bread that's it and give them my money. I don't need no smile or hospitality because I take it to go and the ones actually cooking the food are on point so can't complain. That's why I always tip them;     none of them are attractive so I don't get it ? Haha

So my co-worker swears by this place! He goes multiple times a week and encouraged me to try it.  Told the hub about it and he was like oh yeah I've been there before it is good! So off we went. The place was crowded and the patrons looked pleased. We took our order to go. It was my first time eating shwarma and it will be my last. I mean I don't have anything to compare it to, but I guess I was expecting something like a gyro. It wasn't. The spices were so over powering for my palate. Such a strong taste I couldn't take more than a few bites. So I don't know if it was good or not. My experience was limited to this place but it doesn't make me want to venture out and try a different spot if this is supposed to be the best spot.

  •   I drive from sheepshead bay Brooklyn 30-40 mins to eat here.  Best kosher meat place in NYC. Service is amazing. One of the cleanest restaurants I've been to.  Try it and then Remember how I said

I'm happy I found this spot thanks to a friend who's Jewish and mainly eats kosher. This is a small restaurant but fits a lot of people this seems like a place great place to have family dinners. I ordered mango juice and chicken shawarma and my friend ordered chicken shawarma and hummus. First off the hummus was excellent and so was the food! There's as a do-it-yourself salad bar that comes free with your meal.

The waiters were very friendly and the food came out very fast. I definitely plan on returning especially since the restaurant is clean and quiet enough to have a peaceful dinner and hear the person next to you speak.

I've been eat at this place for years food is finger licking good from the bread to the meat down to the salad is always amazing and never a let down.
Aside from all that the place closes at midnight but there is a clean up crew till 3am making sure the place a spotless and food is fresh for the next day shift. Service is always always amazing very giving on extras just for a simply smile on your face.

Who ever you are Marcy I think your an idiot for giving such a negative review and say the pita was cold. They make the pita in house every day fresh. All you really had to do is ask for it to be toasted.

  •   One of the best chicken shawarma around!!!! Delicious fresh lafa and pita, awesome salad bar, excellent fresh tasting hummus, great staff who is both attentive and courteous. Overall a great place to eat especially when hungry. If you can't make the trip to Israel then this is second best! I am never disappointed here and its worth my 40 min trip every single time. You won't be disappointed!

  •   Like many, I rely on Yelp reviews to eat at some new places. Yelp.. You failed me this time.. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but this was just disappointing and just think you should all be informed. Maybe I just had a bad experience; but I'll try to be as honest as possible. To begin, the food was very expensive, the chicken shawarma was a little over $11. But the place was pretty crowded, and hey; the reviews were great; so the food must be worth it right ?

WRONG. The chicken was not cooked enough, my friend couldn't eat his because he thought it was raw. The hummus was not bad actually. But again; that chicken.. It's sad that they put a lot, and usually that's a good thing, but in this case I had to eat a lot of something I didn't like. The fries that come with it caught my eyes, they looked good but the looks deceived me. They were soggy, not cooked enough, and just hard to enjoy.

If you're rich, and don't care much for quality taste, then enjoy. But if you're only willing to spend good money for good food, I highly suggest you avoid this place.

I love going there with my friend
    The food is great
The only reason I gave them 4 stars not 5
Because the service on the week days is not that good the witnesses are not attentive
I love the waitress who works on Sunday she always smile and ask if u need anything even when she is super busy
I wish the owner will talk to the waitresses who work on Wednesday to be more attentive to the customers
    Thank you

Had brunch today at this Glatt Kosher spot. The food looked great from outside and the place was situated exactly where we had parked after a morning of shopping.
We ordered two turkey & lamb shawarmas and the falafel
The service was very slow   The food though Fresh was tasteless. I had to keep adding condiments which I hate to do. My pita was cold but I did not complain. My brothers flatbread was freshly baked and still warm but again flat in taste too. I did not even bother to taste the falafel. They one good thing was the Cole slaw. It was delectable. The pickles were good too. My brother and Sisterinlaw seemed to enjoy their shawarmas.
Needless to say I will not return.

  •   I LOVE THEIR FOOD !!! BEST SHAWARMA IN TOWN. Prices are terrible.
Reduce the prices a little, it wouldn't bankrupted you. Don't be greedy, keep making these amazing wraps and Lafas.

As Mark would say, "a curious tasting place". Overall decent food, but can often lead to an upset stomach.
They are usually out of at least something that you want, but I don't expect the highest things from them.
I'm still not sure why this place is hyped over, I guess the standards are getting lower every day. I mean, the food is definitely good, but by no means is this a 5 star quality place.
If I were to recommend something, I can't put my finger on it right now, but there IS something that should be done. Maybe a couple things .. this place has a lot of potential though. Perhaps they should give Mark a call for some suggestions.
Also — many of the workers are very kind and hard working people. Some stay up until past 3:00AM cleaning …

    2.55/5

Also, you're not getting so much for your purchase. A bit overpriced!
    Horrific falafel!!

This place is one of my favorites… my buddies and I have been going here together for almost 10 years. I always get the kofta kebab on laffa with hummus and some spicy sauce. It never disappoints – I am drooling as I am typing this, days later…

The shawarma is extremely popular here. Consider going early because availability varies as you get closer to closing.
