  •   Dropped in to grab some shawarma and loved the  combo meal they offer. It's plenty food to share for a decent price. Everything is kosher!! The chicken shawarma was delicious with the choice of whatever salads you want inside the laffa and a choice of side. There are seats for  take out and to order with server who was very attentive! Overall I had great experience with delicious food and service and lastly a full and happy tummy.

I drive from sheepshead bay Brooklyn 30-40 mins to eat here.  Best kosher meat place in NYC. Service is amazing. One of the cleanest restaurants I've been to.  Try it and then Remember how I said
    "best kosher meat"

OMG – the hustle, the bustle, the noise, the chaos, the ethnicity – the FOOD! Fabulousness. Have to make it just 4 stars bc it is just nowhere near a 5-star restaurant – no ambience, probably not the most sanitary, but who cares, the schwarma was TO DIE FOR. Yum. The side salads fantastic too. We all had the baby chicken (why is this a "baby?") schwarma. The fries were soggy and really, the dish would be fine frie-less. The beet salad was fantastic.  Give me spicy sauces and make me swoon. We live where things are calm and homogeneous, and miss a mish mosh or ethnic cuisines and people. We would be regulars if we lived closer for sure!

  •   Good food. As a Taiwanese, I was really worried before I Walk into the store but end up the food was amazing. We ordered the mixed and mushroom and eggplant as sides. Said bar was good too. Meats especially chicken was very juicy. Good service too.

  •   Good spot, I really like the food and always get it to go. The ones that do work here it is funny try and give an attitude or whatever but it doesn't really work because I don't give them the chance. Basic let me get a shawarma on Lafay bread that's it and give them my money. I don't need no smile or hospitality because I take it to go and the ones actually cooking the food are on point so can't complain. That's why I always tip them;     none of them are attractive so I don't get it ? Haha

So my co-worker swears by this place! He goes multiple times a week and encouraged me to try it.  Told the hub about it and he was like oh yeah I've been there before it is good! So off we went. The place was crowded and the patrons looked pleased. We took our order to go. It was my first time eating shwarma and it will be my last. I mean I don't have anything to compare it to, but I guess I was expecting something like a gyro. It wasn't. The spices were so over powering for my palate. Such a strong taste I couldn't take more than a few bites. So I don't know if it was good or not. My experience was limited to this place but it doesn't make me want to venture out and try a different spot if this is supposed to be the best spot.

I LOVE THEIR FOOD !!! BEST SHAWARMA IN TOWN. Prices are terrible.
Reduce the prices a little, it wouldn't bankrupted you. Don't be greedy, keep making these amazing wraps and Lafas.

  •   Came back to Grill Point after a year with an unstoppable craving for shawarma. I forgot what was better by this point, the baby chicken or lamb. Lamb. I copped out on a chicken shawarmizzle and my girlfriend got a lamb. After chowing down our food and trying each others, I came to the conclusion that the lamb is the way to go. The fries and salad on the side are great add ons, although I didn't have room to finish everything. The portions are just right, although, I wish I could just by a shawarma minus the fries :/ Anywho, I'll deff be back. This is my go-to shawarma spot for life!

This is flat out AMAZING. I've never had a bad experience and I've been coming here often. I've ordered about 5 kinds of eggplant dishes, 5 different salads, hummus 3 ways, lamb done two ways, chicken done three different ways, morroccan cigars, slaws and vegetable dishes. Every single thing was absolutely delicious and portions huge. I would drive from anywhere anytime to eat here. It's Kosher so they have burgers but you won't get cheese. The French fries are awesome too. I love that it's so healthy and so tasty you'd never think you're eating straight up good-for-you food. Please go here. Please. You're missing out if you haven't.

  •   When an Israeli tells you to ready your belly for the best shawarma outside of Israel, you listen and arrive hungry. Grill Point is in a neighborhood amongst many  a Kosher market and eatery, but it has something a little special. Call it a "tribal" experience in Hebrew cuisine since all corners of the Middle East to Eastern Europe are represented. We ordered the lamb (obviously!) and were presented with little plates for the salad items up front that customers self serve. Sour pickles, spiced brined veggies, red and white cabbage slaw and beets were some of the options. They acted almost like a palate cleanser for all that drippy, fatty lamb we shoved into our mouths. It's impossible to be lady like with this food, although I tried and gave up. Know that there will be hummus and oil smeared all over your lips dripping down into your cleavage, pants leg or table top depending on how you decide to sit with this thing and your gender. My companion did a little shimmy dance between drizzles of tahini. It was hard to peel yourself off the seat afterward. The grapefruit flavored soft drink he recommended was a pleasant surprise because it was more like a nectar and hardly carbonated. I drank one. I could have drank at least 2 or 3. If there was Vodka or Arak involved, I would have had a brilliant cocktail. The only thing that put me off initially was the bits of meat, bread and salad items under the table and on the seat next to me from previous patrons.  A little sweep and wipe down wouldn't have been a bad idea, but then again, with shawarma like that, leaving a mess must be the highest compliment. Lamb and L'chaim…so good.

Excellent restaurant good food great pricing for kosher food, really get your money's worth. Service is 5 star meat is top grade and you always get that Israeli feel when you go sit in the restaurant. Salads taste home made, and there is food for everyone kids, and adults.

The shwarma here melts in your mouth .  The best in town . The lafa bread is yumm And quite filling . They have a nice self service salad bar that comes with your sandwich . I  rather take out than sit in . I find the servers  here are way slow . Also  try the kuba it's a  really good appetizer .

  •   Grill Point is pricey but the portions are huge and it really tastes amazing. Because of the prices, I stick to the pita sandwiches which come with French fries and a do-it yourself salad from their salad bar for $13. When I get this for lunch, I don't have to eat dinner or I have to save half for dinner because it's so filling. My favorite thing to get is the ADANA KEBAB. It's a ground lamb sausage that's grilled on a skewer. Add some hummus, tahini, parsley, and roasted eggplant for toppings and thank me later. It's really that delicious. Other great options are the baby chicken shwarma pita, lamb & turkey shwarma pita, and the lamb and beef kebabs in a pita. From the salad bar, I've only gotten the cucumber salad and the red cabbage slaw but everything looks very good. Their meat and potato soup is also very good. I also want to try their laffa, green pilaf, stuffed peppers, and couscous with chicken some day. Highly recommend Grill Point to everyone.

A friend of mine and his father brought me here to try kosher Israeli food for the first time in my life. To be honest, I had no idea what to expect or what to order. They recommended that I try the baby chicken shawarma. No you are not served a baby chicken.. atleast I hope not :).

I ordered the baby chicken shawarma wrap. The meal comes with free access to the salad bar – definitely take advantage! It's not your typical salad bar. You get all sorts of different salads (red cabbage, israeli salad, etc). Great option to get some fiber in your meal. Anyways the wrap arrived – it's a delicious pita bread wrap filled with chicken, fries, cucumbers, hummus, etc. I loved it. The pita bread was phenomenal and the flavors went together extremely well.

Unfortunately the prices are sky high. If you eat kosher, I'm sure you know that is expected of any kosher restaurant. If you're a newbie, just keep that in mind. Prices aside, the quality of food is fantastic. I would definitely return.

Just ordered take outfood and spent ninety dollars,  asked for my Israeli salad to be on the side, something that comes with the sandwich anyway, I was told that I had to pay for it by separately by three different servers. New owners just dont get it, think they cornered the market. Been going there for twenty years or so, at least once a month, last few times nothing but disappointment. Sad.

  •   My last experience at grill point was horrible
I had a pita shawarma that was without taste.

I've been there many times, and was never disappointed, maybe the owners was changed, but they need to step up to the
    taste they had before.

This place is usually busy, it has a waited section and a self order section. I came here last week and ordered a laffa with chicken. I was only able to eat half of it it made me full really quick. However the laffa bread was a little rubbery this time and was a little tough to chew. But other than that a great place to dine.

Had brunch today at this Glatt Kosher spot. The food looked great from outside and the place was situated exactly where we had parked after a morning of shopping.
We ordered two turkey & lamb shawarmas and the falafel
The service was very slow   The food though Fresh was tasteless. I had to keep adding condiments which I hate to do. My pita was cold but I did not complain. My brothers flatbread was freshly baked and still warm but again flat in taste too. I did not even bother to taste the falafel. They one good thing was the Cole slaw. It was delectable. The pickles were good too. My brother and Sisterinlaw seemed to enjoy their shawarmas.
Needless to say I will not return.

I've been eat at this place for years food is finger licking good from the bread to the meat down to the salad is always amazing and never a let down.
Aside from all that the place closes at midnight but there is a clean up crew till 3am making sure the place a spotless and food is fresh for the next day shift. Service is always always amazing very giving on extras just for a simply smile on your face.

Who ever you are Marcy I think your an idiot for giving such a negative review and say the pita was cold. They make the pita in house every day fresh. All you really had to do is ask for it to be toasted.

  •   Delicious! The chicken shawarma here is sooo good! The best I have had in the neighborhood. They have a great salad bar to choose from, and its always fresh. My husband, and I always have chicken shawarma with laffa& hummus. It is pricey here, and dont like the fact that their seating area isnt so good. Its more costly to have the dine in service. Still we always manage to find a seat and enjoy! Their service is good. Truthfully most kosher places are pricey, still I believe its worth it here. Very delicious, and always hits the spot.

This place is fabulous- amazing israeli and middle eastern food – and the ambiance is fun and reflective of the surrounding Jewish neighborhood. The platters seem too pricey (mid twenty dollar range- seriously, what extras would you want that isn't included in the serve yourself salad bar, delicious homemade fries, homemade bread and hummus that come with a sandwich). I had the shish kebab sandwich and every element of the meal was insanely good. Love it.
